Dear Gia, as you can see from the title, you left your profile signed in. You are lucky that somebody as nice as me discovered this, because things could have turned out a lot worse. Mind you, I was very tempted to just screw EVERYTHING up. But, I'd feel bad. So just a friendly reminder to not leave yourself signed it :)

Communists Daughter
So the previous book I had started really wasn't all that interesting, so I used to wise words of my English teacher to "enjoy what I'm reading" and switched to The Communists Daughter. I like this one way better! The being was catching and is so good so far!
The previous book I was reading had an interesting layout in the different letters but personally for me it got confusig switching between characters who are writing letter back and forth, just my opinion.
I'm not that far in the Communists Daughter but I do recomend reading it if you're into history! It's a book about a Doctor who is to work in a war who is writing to his daughter about the early life he had with her mother; their meeting, the war, etc.
Here's the book check it out!

The Guernsey Literary And Potato Peel Pie Society
Holy CRAP could that title be any longer!!??? ;) haha So this is the first book I have chosen to read. I'm really only a couple pages into the book but so far it's pretty good. So far I really enjoy the way the authors have presented the story. It's sort of hard to describe but instead of normal paragraphs it's been letters between the characters in the book. Which can personally get slightly confusing but before each letter it has the name of who it is from and who it is too which is quite helpful. I think this is a neat way to write a book, it's very different and I like it a lot! I like variety so this works perfectly for me.
Here is a photo of the book in case anyone is interested in what it looks like so you can get a more visual side to this blog. For the rest of the books I read I'll post photos of them as well as I go. ENJOY! :)

Introduction :)
July the 6th 2011 was when my older sister had left for Africa to go volunteer with a non profit organization. She will be gone for a total of 2 whole years! She is what you call a book fanatic! She loves to read and has tons of books! She unfortunately was unable to take her large collection of books with her so I am currently the librarian. I watch over all of her many books, and make sure if people read a book they MUST return it and in good shape ;) It's actually quite fun being the librarian because I myself do love books as well. One day I was quite bored so I decided to go through her book collection and gather some that I'd enjoy reading over the next 2 years! I picked a small selection at first of what books really interested me so they were put at the top of my list! The list includes:
1. The Communists Daughter- Dennis Bock
2. The Great Depression- Pierre Berton
3. P.S I love you- Cecellia Attern
4. Time Travellers Wife- Audrey Niffenegger
5. Broken- Daniel Clay
6- Haunted Palahniuk
7. Catcher in the Rye- JD Salinger
8. The Plot Against America- Philip Roth
9. Goldie Hawn's Biography
10. Chasing Harry Winston- Lauren Weisberger
11. The Devil Wears Prada- Lauren Weisberger
12. Eat, Pray, Love- Elizabeth Gilbert
13. Almost Moon- Alice Sebold
14. Lucky- Alice Sebold
15. White Rose- Scholl
16. We need to talk about Kevin- Lionel Shriver
17. icy sparks- Gwyn Hyman
18. One flew over the cuckoo's nest- Ken Kessey
19. Knowledge Book- National Geographics
20. Book of Negroes- Lawrence Hill
21. The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society- Mary Ann Shaffer and Annie Barrows
22. Angela's Ashes- Frank McCourt
23. 'Tis (^sequel)- Frank McCourt
I'm not going to read this list in order I am just going to read them in whatever order I please. I had just started my first book today while riding on the bus to school in the morning. I decided to start with The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society. I chose this... well because my sister had recommended it to me and personally I think it sounds like a fantastic book and currently it's quite enjoyable!
I will be writing a blog per book just basically talking about the book, don't worry I will try not to give anything away for those who'd enjoy reading any of these books. I will rate on my personal scale of how I liked it and just basically talk about it. This blog is just for fun! And if I don't update super often it's because I'm a slow reader haha and I'm not sure how fast I can get through all these books but I'll try my best! :) I'll try to update saying where I am currently in the book and how I'm enjoying it, but by the end of the book when I finish I'll have an official post about the book! :)
So now my adventure has begun, I'm not sure when it will end exactly but the only thing that matters is as long as I have fun along the way! :)
